Riversprings Middle and Shadeville Elementary students had the opportunity to Celebrate America 250 today with a visit from the America250FL Freedom Tour!
Students explored the America250FL Mobile History Museum, learning more about Florida’s incredible journey and contributions to the Republic. One of the most exciting parts? Seeing pieces of our own Wakulla County history featured right on display.
A special thank you to the Florida Department of Transportation for bringing this meaningful experience to our students and helping history come to life right here at school.

Attention Middle School Families!
It’s time to get ready for the next school year!
All rising 7th grade students are required to have updated immunizations (Tdap) on file before the first day of school.
• A completed Florida Form 680 or Form 681 is required
• The form must be signed and submitted to your child’s school
• Forms can be obtained from the Wakulla County Health Department or your child’s medical provider
Families may begin submitting forms directly to their child’s school now, or upload them through the Focus Parent Portal beginning in June.
We encourage families to take care of this early to avoid any delays when school starts.
