Wakulla County Schools values your feedback! It is time for the annual 2024-2025 Family Climate Survey! Please take a moment and share your thoughts!

Attention Families with upcoming 7th Grade Students:
Tdap immunization is REQUIRED for all students entering 7th grade. Proof of immunization must be documented on updated Florida Certificate of Immunization (Form DH680) and submitted to the school prior to the start of the 7th grade school year! The 2025-2026 School year begins on August 11, 2025.

Parents and Guardians,
Wakulla County Schools are actively monitoring the active shooter situation at FSU. A small number of students were on a field trip in Tallahassee to participate in the Special Olympics Torch Run, and they have all been accounted for safely. Their return to Wakulla County may be delayed as law enforcement in Tallahassee is responding to the active situation. Their return may impact the timing of our afternoon bus routes, and more information will be shared as that timing is better known.
All WCS schools are still operating as normal and will dismiss at the regular time. We appreciate you patience as we work through this unfortunate situation.
Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved at FSU, and we will be prepared to assist our students and families who may be impacted directly.

Calling all future War Eagle families!
Do you have an 8th grader getting ready for high school?

We can’t wait to welcome the Class of 2029!
